Mayfield Riding School

We like to think our Riding School here at Mayfield is a little bit different.  We have tried very hard, drawing on both our own experiences and the suggestions of our clients, to create a highly enjoyable environment for both our riders and those that support them.  To us, that means:

•  Maximum of four riders on group lessons to ensure every rider gets the  attention they deserve
•  Permanent BHS Qualified instructors
•  Private lessons available
•  Lesson continuity so riders can really make progress – you will not have a  different instructor every week
•  Varied lesson content to reinforce key principles and above all, keep it fun
•  A good selection of quality well-schooled horses to suit all

The lessons are usually delivered in one of our two all-weather, floodlit arenas and riders of all ages and ability are welcome.

We also provide the necessary safety equipment if you do not have access to your own and parents and other spectators will often be greeted with a nice cup of tea or coffee.

In addition to the shows and competitions we organise at Mayfield from time to time, there are often further opportunities to compete at external events, where we will try to help with transportation where possible.
